On March 24th, over 30 leaders from across the denominations in Kettering, Northants, came together to learn more about OPEN and how to offer a compassionate pastoral response to those who have faced an unintended pregnancy or who may be struggling following an abortion experience.
There was a great atmosphere and lively discussion throughout the day! One leader wrote afterwards: ‘I just wanted to say that was the best Christian meeting about abortion I’ve ever been to… Thank you so much for organising it and for inviting me. As well as being involved in planting a Vineyard church in Kettering I am also a part time GP so my hopes were met from a medical professional perspective as well’.
